Presented by:
Dr. Susan Salvador served as Vice President for Student Affairs at Monroe Community College in Rochester, New York and Northampton Community College in Bethlehem, PA. She was a Search Associate for William Spelman Executive Search and is currently a consultant, trainer and speaker on student affairs practices and student learning.

Student Affairs programs and services are grounded in theory, although not widely known unless one studies the subject matter. This session will focus on utilizing theory as the framework for creating programs and services and measuring its applicability and effectiveness.  Attendees will gain an understanding of how to implement student development theory into daily practice. In addition, strategies on how to utilize theory to inform policymaking will also be shared.
