Managing and Participating in OER Creation Projects
4:30 PM - 5:30 PMFull Abstract
This "Birds of a Feather" session is an open invitation to faculty, professionals who work in course development, faculty centers, or with their campus OER initiatives.
SUNY Oneonta currently has two collaborative OER Creation Projects funded through SUNY OER Services, and Ed and Mike will facilitate the discussion based on best practices and lessons learned. Topics of discussion will include identifying the right projects and faculty members, defining roles, setting up a flexible and collaborative structure with defined deliverables and a schedule.
Special attention will be given to support structures, both inside SUNY and outside SUNY and how they can help in the planning, developmental, drafting, peer review, and digital and print publishing.
