This interactive session will provide an update on the development of SUNY Online, a central pillar of SUNY’s initiative on individualized education designed to attract more 100% online students to SUNY. Plans for a Fall 2019 pilot and Fall 2020 launch will be shared, including the academic program strategy, plans for promotion and recruitment, a new model for online student support, what online course development and instructional design support will look like, and the technology infrastructure required. We will also discuss how Open SUNY will begin to transition to SUNY Online and what the impact will be for SUNY campuses delivering online courses and programs today.
