Faculty & Designer Course Creation Collaboration: A Model for Best Practice
9:30 AM - 10:00 AMFull Abstract
A great online course is not developed by just one, but by a team and continual collaboration. At SUNY Oswego, a process has been developed to support faculty and work collaboratively to develop courses to deliver online and via distance channels that meet educational standards and drive student learning and outcomes.
Professor Stabb has just completed the development of two online courses during the past academic year. This was made possible with the continued support, guidance, and professional development resources that were made available by working with members of the instructional design team.
During this session, Joe Stabb and Therese Gilliard-Cook will share the best practices of collaboration that have been developed at SUNY Oswego.
