Full Abstract

We have built upon our 2017-2018 IITG (“Building the Digital Scholarship Lab at SUNY Maritime”) by expanding our efforts in Digital Scholarship across the disciplines and throughout the entire college. Humanities, Science, and Engineering have established Digital Scholarship tools, practices, and entire courses in collaboration with IT, the Library, and the Maritime Industry Museum at Fort Schuyler. Our DS Teaching Cohort runs monthly workshops through our Center for Teaching Excellence. The Maritime and Naval Studies (MNST) Master’s degree incorporates DS tools and deliverables throughout the program. And our DSL (Digital Scholarship Lab) has grown as student and faculty input and demand has expanded.
