In this session we will discuss strategies you can use in your online or face-to-face classes to structure your learning community to be a safe space for debate and difficult topics. Strategies for establishing classroom communication guidelines, simulating how to have constructive conversations, and handling conflict that may arise from difficult topics will be discussed. Participants will have the opportunity to share their own experiences, ask questions, and get feedback on how to address their specific class needs.
