Every classroom is different, but not merely because of the subjects we teach. Our classes change depending on who's teaching and who's studying. To make our classes more welcoming to students across races, genders, and abilities, we'll consider the cumulative effect of formative assessment, transparent citations, self-determined learning outcomes, and equitable grading in the classroom.
