This presentation will collect and share information on how collaboration, nudging, and focusing on student success can assist an individual, department or institution better understand and make changes to their culture.
Many of our campuses are struggling with changing levels of student preparedness, engagement and connection. There is also a prevalent sense of programming and making decisions from various silo's. This presentation will share examples of how we can engage students and campus partners in better supporting and engaging with each other.
At the College at Brockport the creation of an Academic Success Center as well as a new and active Strategic Plan has been the impetus to this change. Tips, tricks and various approaches to culture change (including the need and usages of data collection) will be shared and encouraged.
