This three-part DEI seminar series is based on these themes and designed to address the following questions:
- What is the current state of DEI in business today, what are the gaps when it comes to developing exceptional DEI cultures in organizations that will attract and help the next generation of employees thrive at work, and what role can business schools and programs play in addressing those gaps?
- How do business school faculty across the breadth of business disciplines, incorporate DEI into their content and classes in a pedagogically sound and discipline appropriate manner? What tools, practices, insights, and data can help faculty in this endeavor?
- What are the important types of student supports for DEI outside of the classroom (e.g., student clubs and activities, advising students and clubs, career counseling, placement, etc.) and what are examples of innovative programs and best practices?
This online seminar series is intended for:- Business faculty, administrators, and professional staff who want to better understand student perspectives on DEI, develop ideas and learn from others on how to incorporate DEI into their programs, curricula, courses, and experiences outside of the classroom.
- Students who want to share their perspectives on DEI with faculty and administrators and learn about how DEI is advancing in businesses and organizations.
- Business professionals and leaders who want to learn from current students so they can build workplaces that embrace DEI in their cultures and practices.
