The Graduate and Research Committee of the University Faculty Senate, in collaboration with the SUNY Center for Professional Development will be hosting the third edition of the SUNY Graduate Research Conference (GRC).
The purpose of the SUNY Graduate Research Conference is to showcase the research excellence carried out SUNY-wide at the graduate level. This will be the third edition of this conference and will build on the success of the previous editions of this conference. The conference will be again organized with the logistical support of the SUNY Center for Professional Development (CPD) and will be advertised to all campuses to solicit presentations from graduate students, attendance by faculty, administrators, staff, undergraduate students who may be interested in pursuing graduate education at SUNY, and the community. This year we are proposing the conference theme of Research for the Common Good in Public Higher Education. We will organize panels associated with subthemes of this conference, which may include any of the following, but not limited to:
SUNY graduate students in all academic fields are invited to contribute to the 2024 SUNY Graduate Research Conference (GRC) as poster presentations or standard presentations. Graduate students can participate in the following ways:
SUNY graduate students in all academic fields are invited to contribute to the 2024 SUNY Graduate Research Conference (GRC) as panelist presenters or poster presenters. Graduate students can participate in the following ways:
1. Submit proposals to contribute as panelist presenters to panels that will be organized based on thematic clusters of presentation topics. Presentation submissions not selected for a panel will turn into poster presentations.
2. Submit proposals to present their independent research and creative projects as posters.
This virtual conference will be held on April 26, 2024. It will bring together graduate student researchers and faculty mentors from across the SUNY system and will provide a forum to disseminate research and scholarly activities through panel contributions and poster presentations in ALL academic disciplines. It will give graduate students performing research, in all disciplines, the opportunity to present their work to a far reaching audience. By bringing together students and faculty from across the state, the GRC will create a dynamic and innovative networking space and continue to develop the synergistic power of the SUNY system.
