Welcome to Monticello, New York, named after the residence of Thomas Jefferson, it is the county seat for Sullivan County in the Southern portion of the Catskill Mountains. It is known for its Monticello Raceway, and just 7 miles away is Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, the 1969 site of the Woodstock Festival.

In an era marked by unprecedented access to data, the focus is not merely on accumulating vast quantities of information but on harnessing its power to drive meaningful change. The journey from raw data to informed decisions mirrors a transformative process, where insights gleaned from data analytics serve as catalysts for innovation and improvement. This year's conference provides a platform for institutional researchers and other stakeholders to come together and share their experiences and best practices. Thomas Hanford, PhD, Assistant Vice Chancellor for Transfer and Articulation

Thom Hanford leads transfer policy and technology efforts as Assistant Vice Chancellor for Transfer and Articulation at SUNY System Administration. In this role, he supports registrar and student records services, Seamless Transfer, cross-registration, reverse transfer, the Transfer Task Force, and efforts to re-envision transfer services and policies System-wide.

In an extra service role, Thom worked with System Administration and across SUNY campuses leading cross registration and reverse transfer initiatives for multiple years prior to joining System Administration full time. He also worked with SUNY and other institutions on grant-funded research projects focused on developing course equivalency and degree planning technologies.

Thom worked at SUNY Cortland for more than a decade in the Office of the Registrar and Student Registration and Record Services, most recently as Executive Director and Registrar. Prior to that, Thom held multiple roles at Binghamton University in advisement and technology support. Thom earned a master’s and Ph.D. in Sociology from the University at Buffalo and bachelor’s in Sociology from SUNY Oswego.




       

           

Conference Registration

  • Early Bird Registration Fee  - $250, if registered by May 12, 2024 (includes 2024-2025 AIRPO membership fee, and all Conference meals and breaks)
  • Registration Fee  - $300 starting May 13, 2024 (includes 2024-2025 AIRPO membership fee, and all Conference meals and breaks)
  • 2024-2025 AIRPO membership fee  - $50. A membership fee is required to register for the Conference.

Thank you for your interest in becoming a SUNY AIRPO sponsor. We look forward to hearing about the products and services you provide. Please register for the conference and pay the $2,000 sponsor fee below. As a reminder, in exchange for this fee, you will be able to set up a booth to interact with data professionals across New York State Higher Education within the SUNY System, Private Institutions and beyond. You will be given contact info for attendees, and you will have the opportunity to briefly discuss your offerings during the group lunch.

  • Sponsorship rate is $2,000 (includes 1 Sponsor representative, and all conference meals and breaks)
  • Additional Sponsor Representative  - $200 pp, if registered by May 12, 2024 (includes all conference meals & breaks) 
  • Additional Sponsor Representative  - $250 pp starting May 13, 2024 (includes all conference meals & breaks)

Hotel Information 

Important: A deposit equal to one (1) night stay is required to hold each individual reservation. Such deposit shall serve to confirm the reservation for the date (s) indicated. This deposit is refundable if notice of cancellation is received at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to arrival and a cancellation number is obtained; however, a $30 processing fee is required. All deposits will be charged at the time the reservation is made.
