Rebecca Oling, Interim Director of Digital Accessibility (Purchase College) will lead panelists in a discussion of the ways in which various campuses engage students in becoming an integral part of the universal design landscape.

Oling will discuss the "Be a Digital Ally" initiative aimed at students and will share other ways that students have taken the lead at Purchase whether through internships, student government, social media, etc. How do students begin to shift into long term advocacy to help us shape a new information infrastructure that has fewer barriers for everyone?

Other panelists will focus on individual efforts to ensure students participate in moving the needle on accessibility efforts. Panelists will detail challenges and successes of these efforts.
