Individualized Learning through Micro-Credentials:
11:25 AM - 12:00 PMPresentation Description
SUNY's Flexible Policy Framework Paves the Way for Faculty Innovation
This session is designed to ignite innovation! SUNY's micro-credential policy is unlike any other adopted in recent history. It's a flexible, faculty-driven policy framework that was intentionally designed to support individualized learning. Participants in this session will: 1) understand the policy framework; 2) learn about the broad range of micro-credentials it supports; and 3) participate in an interactive discussion about getting started. Brainstorming micro-credential ideas that support individualized learning will drive the interactive discussion. Examples of micro-credentials currently offered as well as a summary of planning underway will be shared.
