Presentation Description

Sustainable applied learning projects, creative entrepreneurial collaborations, culturally immersive curriculum, and innovative international experiences.

By the end of this presentation participants will be able to:

- Compare and contrast different levels of international partnerships (professor to professor, department to department, and program to program) to determine which type(s) would work on your campus
- Brainstorm your own applied learning assignments using the provided case studies
- Create a list of best practices to develop successful partnerships on your campus

During this hands-on session, we will be using a panel to bring together multiple people from various types of SUNY campuses will demonstrate how we have created and sustained a variety of partnerships. These partnerships bring together SUNY and international constituents. Our case studies range from connecting with students, professors, departments, programs, and institutions. Participants will be presented with case studies from each of the presenters’ institutions, as a means to evaluate and design faculty development to support team teaching initiatives from both inside and outside their institutions.
