Jobs for the Future (JFF), in partnership with Online Learning Consortium (OLC), is offering a self-paced workshop designed for faculty focused on transitioning to online learning. SUNY is the host organization for the NYS Student Success Center, which is a member of the JFF Student Success Center Network (SSCN). JFF is providing a series of services to SSCN members including this faculty focused workshop. You will have an opportunity to participate with faculty from across the country. The workshop is open to ANY SUNY faculty members who want to participate, for FREE.Topics: Modules are designed to acclimate and upskill educators on the fundamentals of quality online course design, facilitation, and assessment. Topics will include (but are not limited to): equitable and inclusive design practices, strategies for engaging and motivating online students, course mapping and backwards design, facilitation strategies, assessment design, universal design for learning, and continuous improvement methods.
Audience: All interested SSCN including all SUNY faculty, all experience levels
Timing: July – December 2020, at your own pace
