Presentation Information
SUNY Graduate Students in all academic fields are invited to contribute to the 2024 SUNY Graduate Research Conference (GRC) as panelists or other poster presenters. The deadline to submit a Proposal is March 31st, 2024.
Conference Awards:
At this year's SUNY Graduate Research Conference, the conference committee will be awarding 2 awards in the amount of $150 dollars (Amazon Gift Card). For best poster/presentation.
Eligibility:
Eligible students must be enrolled in a SUNY graduate program under the mentorship of a SUNY faculty member. Students are encouraged to submit proposals to present their original research or creative activity. Available formats are a 5–10-minute panelist presentation or a 1–hour poster presentation.

Panel Presentations:
Panel presentation submissions are particularly encouraged on any of the following themes, but not limited to:
- Increasing health and well-being for all.
- Promoting quality education for all.
- Achieving universal diversity, equity and inclusion.
- Fostering economic growth and decent work for all.
- Restoring clean water and thriving ecosystems.
- Providing affordable clean energy.
- Supporting sustainable cities and communities.
- Sustaining decent living conditions for all.
- Enhancing civic engagement and democracy.
- Addressing any other local or global challenges.
Poster Presentations:
Poster presentation submissions are invited on students’ independent research or creative projects.

Proposal Submission Information
Please have the following information available when submitting your presentation proposal:
- Primary presenter name, e-mail address, phone number, college/university, academic field
- Faculty mentor name, college/university and e-mail address
- Presentation title, proposal (200-300 words)
- Panel/Poster selection.
- Identify the central research question, objective, or thesis of the project
- Summarize the methodology and/or findings of the research or creative work
- State conclusions, significance, and/or current state of the project
- Titles should be bolded, short and specific, and in mixed UPPER and lower case letters (title case)
- Use 12-point Times New Roman font
- Include plain text only - DO NOT include tables, charts, pictures, foreign characters, or scientific symbols
- The title and proposal will appear in the conference program exactly as inputted, so double check spelling, punctuation, and clarity of prose
