nstrevellNicole Childrose is an Associate Professor of History at Columbia-Greene Community College, with diverse teaching interests including political science, philosophy, college experience, psychology and sociology. Dr. Childrose focuses on student-centered and innovative approaches to teaching, including the design and delivery of hybrid and online courses. Having taught at every level of education since 2008, including public high school, four-year private college, and postgraduate, professional development courses, she brings with her robust experience in assessment, development of learning outcomes, unit assessment, and institutional effectiveness that relate directly to student success and institutional renewal. In 2015, she was proudly the recipient of the President’s Award for Excellence in Teaching. Nicole formerly served as her institution’s Faculty Council Chair and is the Animal Advocate and Political Science student club advisor. In addition, she is a member of the Institutional Assessment Planning Group and Chair of Non-Academic Assessment at C-GCC. She has authored a Non-Academic Resource Guide, and currently serves as Co-Chair of the SUNY Council on Assessment. She is a former board member of the Assessment Network of New York. Nicole holds a Ph.D. in Education, an M.S. Ed. in Adolescent Education, and a B.A. in History and Political Science.

Kristina Bendikas served as an Assistant Provost of Academic Programs and Planning at SUNY System Administration with a broad portfolio of twenty-two campuses, including community and technical colleges, and a doctoral center. Dr. Bendikas rejoined the SUNY system in 2016, after almost 6 years in the Massachusetts public higher education system, bringing with her robust experience in institutional research, assessment and planning, and institutional effectiveness. At the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, Dr. Bendikas served first as the Associate Dean for Assessment and Planning, then as Associate Dean of Academic Affairs at MCLA.  Prior to her tenure at MCLA, Dr. Bendikas was the Director of Program Review and Assessment at the State University of New York at Albany. Dr. Bendikas’ background also includes twelve years of teaching theatre courses at the University at Albany, Eastern Connecticut State University, and Virginia Commonwealth University. She has earned numerous credits as a theatre director, actor, and voice-over artist. She holds a Ph.D. in Drama, an M.F.A. in Theatre, and an M.S. in Higher Education Administration and Policy.
