With academia, media, governments and corporations focused on the furthest reaches of artificial intelligence, we can get caught up in the extreme possibilities and forget to step back and see how this technology can help us in our daily lives. This session focuses not on the outer limits of AI, but instead on how it can be effectively and easily used for our more recurrent work responsibilities..

Bio:  Robert Becker (he/him) is currently DLE trainer for SUNY Online and the SUNY Center for Professional Development. In the last 18 months in this role, Robert has run over 200 SUNY-wide trainings, acted as Instructional Designer for the SUNY Center for Professional Developmentā€™s certificate course conversions to Brightspace, created the Comprehensive Brightspace Video Index, and assisted individual campuses by providing customized training sessions. He has 38 years in a variety of classroom settings, and a lifelong interest in instructional technologies and how they improve the educational experience for both students and instructors.
