Title: Navigating Networking Anxiety: Overcoming Awkwardness and Building Bridges in Your Professional Community
Presenter:  Cori Wilhelm, Libraries Program Manager, SUNY Office of Library and Information Services
There is more to our work than the actual work, and making meaningful connections with others in our field can be just as important as our day-to-day job duties. This session aims to reduce networking anxiety and equip participants with the skills and confidence necessary to forge meaningful connections with each other. Through a combination of activities and discussion, participants will explore the benefits of networking, learn practical strategies to level up their networking skills, and practice successful networking by interacting with each other in a supportive and engaging environment.
